“I know you care about me, Oswald!” the cry came from somewhere hidden, some deep cavern in his chest. “You can try to push me away, put me in a corner, dismiss it, but I know.” He shook his head. “I know you care. And better yet, you need me, just as much as I need you.” He let out a breath, the cavern in his chest collapsing. “I just wanted to remind you.”
